One-Third of a tremendous sprint at MSG and a fantastic match with Dragon Lee, he was uneven in the BOSJ tournament. With the right opponent, he's certainly capable of great things, but even against a guy like Kushida at Wrestle Kingdom, he has the possibility of flopping each time he goes out. His BOSJ output has him high on my list right now, but I don't expect very much more from him this year unless both Shingo and Will completely leave the division post G1.

Taiji is certainly one of the more interesting wrestlers to analyze. He's very good and has settled into the role of Bullet Club junior ace well. But more often than not his matches saw him as more of the "other guy" as opposed to the star. To his credit he complemented Taguchi and Liger well in his Junior title defenses, but both times the challengers felt like the better wrestlers. The same could be said for the MSG triple-threat and matches with Dragon Lee. His BOSJ run was also a bit on weaker side with good matches against Lee and Shingo but lackluster affairs against Gresham, SHO, and Scurll. He'll probably make my list without much issue but definitely on the lower end.
