Cena? =O I have a Kento Miyahara to trade still if anyone wants him.
On Gold Coast: I like the angle of law and order you're pushing and we saw that with Hero not attacking the ref after his match. With the new guys coming in from this year's list you should be good good keeping him away from the title scene for a year and makes his title challenge a big deal. Dig the long term thinking. Hero is one of the most interesting guys to me in your group right now.
I know you were a bit hamstrung until you get more girls in here so this isn't necessarily a criticism, but the idea of pushing Io as this intergender star in Africa where wrestling is still very basic stages is hilarious. I can't imagine the fans would be pleased in real life. That said in my head I do think some pretty good matches could come out of it with the roster you have. From a pure workrate standard, why not?
Cedric is an interesting choice as champion with these bigger names around, like putting him over strong. Thought the match was suitably epic for him to win and that your shows are building well. In the Gold Coast you gotta draw, and the Champion defending his title so much is a good way to build some momentum.

I think a region with a weaker wrestling tradition is the perfect place to be pushing something like intergender wrestling. Easier to establish it as a norm lol. And yeah, there are some plans for Ohno/Hero eventually. And I hope Cedric to be the black star I know he can be.

3/11/18 NWDKWA-Gold Coast Presents: Sprint, Don't Crawl The Sports Palace (Treichville, Abidjan, Ivory Coast) Attendance: 943
All matches have a 30 minute time limit.
Opener: The Miz def. Ricky Starks via pinfall after the Miz followed up a ref-blind low blow kick to Starks with a sunset flip for the 1-2-3. After the match, an incensed Starks confronts both the referee about his constant missed calls. Just as Starks acts as if he is gonna to put his hands on the ref, Kassius Ohno runs out to the ring and pulls Starks away from the referee. Ohno tells the confused Starks it is not worth it and convinces Starks to come with him backstage. (15:05)
Match 2: Cesaro def. Sammy Guevara via submission after Cesaro transitioned to a Sharpshooter after Guevara kicked out of the Alpamare Waterslide (18:29)
Match 3: Lio Rush def. Kamakazi Kid via disqualification after Kazi threw a steel chair at Lio Rush's skull on the entrance ramp. After about six minutes of battle, Kazi motioned to abandon the match as he had last week. Lio Rush runs to stop Kazi and, sensing Lio running after him, Kazi picked up an empty chair from the crowd and flings at Lio to cause the DQ. (6:21)
The dazed Lio Rush is helpless as Kazi yells to the crowd, "I guess I can afford to have my pockets lighten again this one time!" Just as Kazi picks up the chair to slam it on Lio Rush again, an eyepatched and neck-bandaged Shane Strickland sprints out from backstage and jumps on Kazi! A fiery Strickland claws at Kazi's mask and begins pummeling Kazi's eye with his fists as retribution. After a few good shots at the eye, the referee and Thomas SinCara finally reach to the brawling duo to yank Strickland off Kazi and escort everyone away.
Intermission: At the beginning of the intermission, it is announced over the loudspeakers that Shane Strickland has been immediately fined $1,000 (532,820 CFA Francs) for attacking Kamakazi Kid outside of the ring. However, for the 3/18 show NWDKA-Gold Coast Presents: To The Brink in Kumasi, Ghana, the main event will be Shane Strickland vs Kamakazi Kid in a Bullrope Match!!
Match 4: Fred Yehi and Jonathan Gresham def. Trevor Lee and AJ Styles via submission after Gresham taps Styles out to the Octopus Stretch. (26:11)
Main Event: Cedric Alexander def. Matt Riddle via pinfall to retain the NWDKWA-GC Regional Championship! The match ended unexpectedly when Alexander slithered out of the Bro 2 Sleep to hit the Lumbar Check for the quick pin. (7:19)

3/18/18 NWDKWA-Gold Coast Presents: To The Brink Baba Yara Sports Stadium (Kumasi, Ghana) Attendance: 982
All matches have a 30 minute time limit. The event takes place on the open-air soccer pitch in the stadium.
Opener: Tracer X def. Jungle Kyona via pinfall in a breezy, lighthearted intro to both after Tracer X hit Kyona with a 450 splash. (6:02)
Match 2: Kassius Ohno & Ricky Starks def. The Miz & Sammy Guevara via pinfall when Starks hits Guevara with the Buster Keaton. After a ref bump, Guevara retrieved a steel chair and prepared to hit Starks when Ohno saved Starks by booting the chair into Guevara's face. That gave Starks enough time to hit his finish for the win. (8:43)
Ohno raises the arm of a gleeful Starks after the match.
Match 3: Kagetsu def. Francis Kaspin via submission after Kaspin tapped to the Ude-Garami (key lock). (8:26)
After the match, while Kaspin nursed his sore arm seated against the turnbuckles, Kagetsu curiously retrieves a paint kit from a burlap sack she brought to ringside. Taking the paint kit, Kagetsu walks up to the confused and apprehensive Kaspin and paints a large black 9 on his abdomen. Smiling, Kagetsu then leaves with her kit and sack while Kaspin shows the crowd what she did to bewilderment.
Match 4: Cesaro & Matt Riddle def. Io Shirai & Lio Rush via pinfall after Cesaro finished Lio Rush with a Neutralizer. The match really picked up after Io Shirai kicked out of a Fireman's Carry Drop into an European Uppercut combo from Riddle and Cesaro. (24:49)
After the match, Cesaro made gestures for a title belt before leaving the ring.
Intermission: Promotion for the 3/25 show in Uyo, Nigeria NWDKWA-Gold Coast Presents: Black Gold where the main event will be Cedric Alexander defending his NWDKWA-GC Regional Championship against the winner of Fred Yehi vs Jonathan Gresham coming up right after this intermission! Better yet, on the 4/1 show in Accra, Ghana NWDKWA-Gold Coast Presents: Fool's Gold, Cesaro will challenge for the NWDKWA-GC Regional Championship on that show's main event!
Match 5: Jonathan Gresham def. Fred Yehi in a Number One Contender match via pinfall with a small package after Gresham played possum with a tweaked knee against a concerned and gullible Yehi. (12:23)
After the match, Yehi confronts his believed friend on the less-than-noble tactics but Gresham insists he can't stand on his knee. After some doubt, Yehi puts Gresham's arm around his shoulder and helps carry the limping Gresham to the back.
Match 6: Rey Mysterio & Penta El Zero M def. The Southern Bellringers (AJ Styles & Trevor Lee) via pinfall after Penta hit Styles with a package piledriver for the 1-2-3. (21:58)
Main Event: Shane Strickland and Kamakazi Kid fight to a time limit draw in a Bullrope match. The entire last ten minutes of the match is spent with Strickland and Kazi bloodying each other in the crowd of the open-air soccer pitch. The tied-together rivals never motioned to return back to the ring, despite warnings of the time remaining on the loudspeakers. (30:00)
After the final bell rang, Strickland and Kazi continued to brawl, which prompted head promoter Thomas SinCara and a few officials to come out into the crowd to end the fight. Before they could arrive, Kazi got the upper-hand of the brawl and began choking Strickland out with the bullrope. Due to the amount of blood Strickland had already lost, by the time SinCara and his officials finally arrived to pull Kazi off Strickland, Strickland had passed out in a gruesome scene. SinCara quickly cut the bullrope attaching the two, evacuated the surrounding crowd, and called for medical help for Strickland.

3/25/18 NWDKWA-Gold Coast Presents: Black Gold Ibom Tropicana Entertainment Centre (Uyo, Nigeria) Attendance: 1,001
All matches have a 30 minute time limit
Opener: Tracer X def. Francis Kaspin via pinfall after Tracer X hits Kaspin with a 450 splash (6:49)
Match 2: Ricky Starks w/ Kassius Ohno def. AJ Styles w/ Trevor Lee via pinfall after Styles gets hit with the Buster Keaton. Styles had Starks rolled up in a schoolboy and Lee put Styles's feet on the ropes. However, Ohno takes umbrage and shoves off both Lee and Styles' feet to break up the dirty pin. The flustered Styles turns his attention to Ohno outside the ring, which allows Starks to take advantage for the finishing Buster Keaton. (12:11)
Match 3: Cesaro, Io Shirai, & Jungle Kyona def. The Miz, Sammy Guevara, & Braun Strowman via pinfall after Cesaro hits Guevara with the Neutralizer. Strowman dominated the match early but a glory-hungry Guevara tagged himself in early to the annoyance of Strowman and the Miz. As a result, Strowman and the Miz do not bother to break up the final pin. (4:30)
Match 4: Ringkampf (WALTER & Timothy Thatcher) def. Rey Mysterio & Penta El Zero M via pinfall when WALTER pinned Rey Mysterio after a powerbomb (26:29)
Intermission: Right before the usual promotion announcements, Kamakazi Kid gingerly walks out onto the stage with a microphone in hand. Despite his obvious pain, Kazi boasts off ridding Shane Strickland from West Africa for good. Kazi admits he cannot afford to brutalize people as much as he would like anymore after the hefty fine Thomas SinCara tacked on Kazi for choking out Strickland post-bell. However, Kazi hopes the entire NWDKWA-GC roster recognizes what he is capable of.
After Kazi departs, promotion for 4/1 in Accra, Ghana begins where the winner of tonight's main event will defend the NWDKWA-Gold Coast Regional Championship against Cesaro at NWDKWA-Gold Coast Presents: Fool's Gold! Not only that but the 4/8 show in Lagos, Nigeria will begin the single-elimination tournament to crown the first ever NWDKWA-Gold Coast Tag Team Champions!!!
Match 5: Roman Reigns def. Matt Riddle via pinfall after Reigns hit Riddle with a spear (16:33)
Match 6: Kagetsu def. Lio Rush via submission after making Lio Rush tap to the Ude-Garami (4:14)
After the match, similar to the previous week, Kagetsu retrieves her paint kit and paints the number 15 in black on Lio Rush's abdomen before leaving without explanation.
Match 7: Cedric Alexander def. Jonathan Gresham w/ Fred Yehi via pinfall to retain the NWDKWA-Gold Coast Regional Championship after Alexander finished Gresham off with a Lumbar Check. (28:06)
Gresham had entered the match with a crutch and a bandage around his knee. The majority of the match was wrestled at a slow pace due to Gresham limping throughout the match. 18 minutes into the match, Gresham makes a big show of valiance by removing his bandages and kneepads and throwing them onto the mat.
However, when the referee goes to discard the debris from the ring and turns a blind eye from the competitors, Gresham sprints to grab his crutch and nail Alexander with it. Yehi, furious at his friend for his treachery, pulls the referee from the ring just as the referee is about to count to three for the pinfall. The referee calls for the match to be thrown out as a result.
Gresham hops up angry at Yehi for costing him the pin and championship. As they argue, Yehi decides he had enough and abandons Gresham at ringside. Meanwhile, a recovered Alexander implores the referee to reverse the no-contest and let the match continue as he wants to go as a fighting champion. The referee eventually agrees and a more aware Alexander and a more vicious Gresham go on to have an intense sprint of a closing stretch up to the finish.

thrifty: I really liked the follow up with Kamizake Kid, it showed the push of SinCara that his rules actually have weight and he's not just a bumbling authority figure as usual. As well as the Hero deal earlier on and the addition of his feud with AJ it looks like. There's a lot of good to come from that. To me Kagetsu is a more believable match for a lot of these guys than someone like Io and he got a monster push. 15? I love a good mystery so let's see where that goes. Main event was an interesting take, similar to Cedric's 205 feud with TJP where Gresham pulled a similar tactic, and was about equally as successful. Lol. That said, any time Gresham is getting a main event push I'm all for it. Now with Year 2 of THE 100 done we've got reloaded rosters and it has already helped you, specifically when it comes to getting a couple more women there. Can't wait to see the tag tournament and Cesaro getting a title match, which is just awesome right there. Keep it up, man.

NWDKWA: Memphis Champion's League Group Draw Press Conference March 17th
*All 15 announced men, stood together in suits on a stage with NDWKA: Memphis' Owner Dylan Harris occupying the spot of the yet to be announced final participant in the Champion's League. Media stand below watching the podium as the man himself walks up, wearing a sky blue dress shirt and a black vest, flipping his hair back as he introduced the participants of the tournament, before bringing a lottery ball machine out and announced the blocks of the tournament will be drawn right before everyone's eyes. "This isn't like FIFA, where guys paid me off to rig this. I'm like a cross between Daniel Bryan & Scott Steiner. I don't give a damn about money and I have enough freaks to last me for decades. That crap won't work on me...isn't that right, Riddle?"
*Matt Riddle shuffled along nervously in the background as his attempted con was exposed in front of everyone, with Hideki Suzuki looking like he wanted to make a move but thought better of it with 13 men between them.*
*Dylan continued by announcing the first participant in Block A would be the newest member of NWDKWA: Memphis. "He was a crafty negotiator, and I almost had to go to my Plan B of bringing Austin Idol in. But nope. He's one of the biggest stars in wrestling and we got his overly liberal ass. Please welcome the first member of Block A of the Champion's League...Zack Sabre Jr.!"
*ZSJ's theme played and the man himself walked out, shaking Dylan's hand and popping the collar of his suit for the press. He briefly spoke and said that Memphis has a rich wrestling history that proved you can be as unskilled as possible and still be successful. Thankfully those days are over, and he's gonna tap out every person thrown at him to prove it. "Then I'm walking right by that diarrhea heaven known as the Rendevous, with their disgusting Memphis BBQ & celebrating with a Vegan meal in my 5 Star Hotel suite."
*Dylan immediately looked angry and cut him off telling him he shouldn't be too cocky with this stud-laden group of wrestlers. "That could be problems for someone coming in here looking like a heroin addict such as yourself. Walk your ass to your spot onstage and then to the gym or you'll be drinking vegan shakes through a wired jaw."
*ZSJ was unpleased but smirked it off, especially as Dylan drew a lottery ball and smiled wide before announcing that he drew exactly who he was hoping for after ZSJ's little rant...The VP of NWDKWA Memphis, "Uncle Jun", Jun Akiyama*
*Akiyama saunters up and hugs his friend as ZSJ can be heard in the background sarcastically saying "Oh great plan, sending gramps after me!" which was rightly ignored as Akiyama commented that he would represent the company with honor and that he would show that Japan and Memphis are one and the same.*
*The next competitor drawn for Block A was Konosuke Takeshita, who commented that he wanted to win and show the fans that he is worthy to be the top star in the company.
Finally it was Imposible whose name was called, and he spoke about wanting there to be an all México final between himself and Máscara Dorada.
All 4 men lined up to pose for pictures as Dylan previewed the Block for the media, mentioning that trash talk aside this group is his kind of Block. All 4 men have previous grappling experience and Akiyama and Takeshita are both amateur wrestling standouts in talk heir pasts. He said to look forward to extremely technical matches that could be won at any moment.*
*Up next was Block B, with Dylan drawing the first name which was revealed to be...Yuji Okabayashi.
When he walked up to the podium, Shuji Ishikawa followed right behind him to a gasp from the crowd before he announced he would be in Block B too, just as he promised. They had an intense staredown but Dylan stood in between and promised that it's gonna be "The Big Dog" vs. "The Big Bald" and tensions seemed to ease leading to the 3rd man in Block B getting drawn, which turned out to be Chris Hero. He calmly said he was to knockouts what Zack Sabre Jr. is to submissions. He promised that anyone who tries to stop him from getting the title is getting his block knocked off courtesy of his elbow to the jaw. He said everyone saw what happened to Freelance and it was no accident. The best move in wrestling is the Rolling Elbow and that's his weapon to win the title.
The last name that was drawn was...Hideki Suzuki. There were gasps in the audience and Hideki simply laughed it off at first, then calmly walked down to the stage and flipped the lottery machine over and immediately started yelling at Dylan Harris, until Jun Akiyama stepped in and had a staredown with Hideki, while Dylan yelled and said that he needs to calm it down and focus on the tournament. If he makes it to the next round in the tournament, Riddle will have to face him!
That seems to calm Hideki down and it leads to a brief intermission to reset the machine, but eventually cooler heads prevail. And it almost seemed like fate, but the first name drawn for Block C was Matt Riddle, sending Hideki into a rage again, so close to getting his hands on his enemy, but he was able to keep it under control as Matt Riddle simply declared Memphis "Bro City" now and took his spot, pleased that he doesn't have to deal with the Suzuki problem quite yet.
Up next was Bárbaro Cavernario, a Caveman. He danced around the stage with his poorly done up suit, and was by far the most animated competitor thus far. He said (in grunting Spanish) that the other guys may have been wrestling longer, but he has the experience edge of being around for over 9 million years.
Dylan, couldn't help but smile at the madman who left the stage, and then announced the 3rd name of Block B as "Break Heart" Kento Miyahara. Kento shook hands with both Akiyama and Dylan and said that he was the most passionate wrestler in the tournament. He promised if he wins, the first title shot would go to his mentor Jun Akiyama and he would carry Memphis the same way he carried All Japan for years.
The final man in Group C was Kengo Mashimo. Mashimo felt that he was the wild card of the tournament as he is still fresh off recovering from his injury. He promised that he picked up some new tricks during his time off and he looked forward to the creative challenge Group C brought him with such a unique assortment of wrestlers. Dylan chimed in to agree that Group A was a technical wrestling carried bunch, Group B had a nightmare's assortment of heavy hitters, C and D were essentially motley crews of people that should provide some excellent first time matchups.
Afterwards, the remaining 4 men, AJ Styles, Máscara Dorada, Shingo Takagi, & YOSHI-HASHI all stood up and posed and Dylan simply offered each man a chance to speak. AJ took it first and said unlike every other man in this tournament he has been the Ace of every company he's dedicated himself to. This time won't be any different, no matter how many new faces there are. He mentioned another advantage he has is that he is a southern boy. He is gonna have a home field advantage compared to the others. He's the biggest star and he's the best wrestler. He says he anticipates a ton of great matches, but in the end the NWDKWA Memphis title will be around the waste of the Phenomenal One.
Máscara Dorada says that he is fighting for México and fighting for the most exciting style of wrestling in the world, Lucha Libre. He says he matches up well against everyone in different ways but he's not overlooking anyone. He says wrestling AJ will be an honor and win or lose he knows that will be the match he gains the most out of.
Shingo cuts a promo saying all this crap about the lottery was completely pointless and mentions that he's mad because his ball didn't even get drawn. He mentions this is the kind of Group he wanted to be in because he has a huge power advantage over his competition, Shingo said that he didn't know what to think of all this but promised that his matches will be more exciting than this boring press conference, and he doesn't care about honor or any of that. He'll look to decapitate AJ when they meet.
YOSHI-HASHI mentioned that he's clashed with Styles and Dorada in the past but never in a singles match. He knows what Dorada can do and that AJ is a lot different now than the Bullet Club AJ he knows. He says that he matches up poorly with all 3 men in terms of skillset as it's probably the most talented Group in the tournament. He says every taste of success he's had it's been due to his heart. And that goes double for this tournament. In addition to the title, he mentioned he is fighting for his wife Ayumi, the best wrestler he knows. He said she promised him if he won the title she would come out of retirement and he could achieve his dream of teaming together. He said he'll show what he can do and that 2018 is the year of the Loose Explosion.
After the press conference ended everyone left and we got a graphic for the schedule for the 3 Group Stage lineups, with promises of new talent getting announced on every show and a thank you from Dylan for all in attendance and those watching online, and he hoped to see everyone in a week.

Dylan I really like your idea of a Champions League for your tournament, surprising for someone with as limited a knowledge on soccer as you to go down this route <_<. Would of been even better if you had no-one from the same country in the same group, but that's kinda unavoidable with how many Japanese wrestlers you have. Your Sabre Jr promo cracked me up. Your boys Yoshi-Hashi and Kento are gonna end up in the semi finals aren't they?
---
Is it ok to get in on this using just my 2017 list? I did submit a list for 2016 but I never kept a copy and literally all I can remember is that AJ Styles was my #1 and Hero my #2. That is unless someone else still has a copy of my old list.
My roster for my 2017 looks like:
Top 10: Walter - High vote Tomohiro Ishii Zack Sabre Jr Tetsuya Naito Roman Reigns Asuka Braun Strowman Tyler Bate Timothy Thatcher Kushida
High Votes: Ivan Keel Avalanche Marius Al-Ani Absolute Andy Da Mack Rich Swann

yeah I can totally get you your high votes, and I trust you on AJ/Hero as #1/#2 because that was like 75% of us having them in one combo or the other
