A legitimate contender for #1 in my eyes. Has a host of classics - with Punk, Brock, Rollins, Bryan, Styles - several feuds that produced multiple incredible matches - Punk, Owens, Styles - and also has a litany of great TV matches spread out across the decade. His 2015 might be the best single year anyone has produced during the decade. Covers pretty much every base you could be looking for.

Cena is someone I think is going to benefit a lot from a rewatch by a lot of people. For me personally, no way he finishes outside the Top 15 right now, but can easily find his way to being a viable #1 contender. I need to watch his 2010 stuff because I think that is by far the weakest year he has had this decade, including the injured/part time years.

Cena's going to end up being one of the toughest to rank for a multitude of reasons. First off, his 2018 is most likely a complete wash and it's looking more and more like he has a foot out the door which leaves him with only a few years to critique. He's had some genuinely awful matches and while a lot of it was on subpar opponents, plenty of it was on him either no longer being the world-class carrier he was in 2007 or trying to prove he can work a more indy-influenced style. And while the "PWG Cena" of 2015 provided some fun matches, he lacked a true MOTYC or standout performance. And for every Punk, Brock, Bryan, and A.J. match where he proved he could still be one of the best in the world, he would have 10 other matches that were just decent or absolutely skippable. And while I don't try to judge his lack of execution too harshly against him because he's always been a "whole is better than the sum" worker, his offense has looked downright terrible at times.
But I absolutely cannot deny his peaks. I cannot deny that those aforementioned matches with Punk, Bryan, Brock, and A.J. weren't incredible performances. Time and time again when I was just about ready to write him off, he went ahead and knocked my socks off. I just can't fathom not having him in at least the top 50.

Even considering the bad stuff and slowing down his pace, I have a hard time not thinking Cena will be in my top 10. The peaks are just too good. He's definitely my top primarily-WWE guy and the only person I think might come close is Bryan (depending on how the next year and a half go for him).
