While it seems like most considered Zeus to be a good worker whether it be singles or tag, this really felt like HIS year as an arguable elite talent. Even before winning the Triple Crown he had the tremendous Joe Doering match and easily one of the best runs in the Champion Carnival. And outside of his notable offense and charisma, he really got to show his chops as a great seller against Kento, Kengo, and Ishikawa (the latter being an arguable MOTYC). And though I don't think there have been as many good Big Guns matches as there were last year, his elevation to champion has limited those opportunities and aren't really his fault. And while I'm not sure I would consider him a top 10-15 contender, the next Kento match could go a long way in elevating his standing in the top half.

Doesn't have quite the consistency of Kento or the sheer volume of great stuff like Shuji or Suwama, but there are few guys I've looked forward to watching this year quite like Zeus. This really has felt like *his* year.

Well, the Kento rematch was tremendous and an arguable MOTYC. And while Kento is one of the best big match wrestlers in the world, Zeus managed to outshine him. Even at 30+ minutes the beatdown segments were tremendous. He's got a real shot at the top 20-25.

After catching up on the Real World Tag League and some Korakuen Hall tags, Zeus is pushing top 10 contention. Just so many good to great singles and tag matches which personally goes a long way for me. It's one thing to be a great singles worker or a great tag worker, but being both is elite level.

A lock for the top half, but could sneak into my top quarter if I go back and look a little closer at the beginning of his year. The best part of the Tag League outside of Violence Giants and a must watch since the title win in Osaka. Really interested to see where he ends up in the overall ballot.
