Feels like last year was sort of his breakout, but this year has been another level. Managed to be one of the best indieriffic guys in Europe and one of the best tag workers in the world.

This is a weird year for Travis. Before the Visa issues, SPPT seemed like a lock for Tag Team of the Year. He was doing great singles stuff in FCP as top babyface there and in general doing really good stuff everywhere else he showed up. Since he’s stepped in to the lead babyface role in PROGRESS it’s felt off though. It didn’t feel as genuine as it used to be, the commentary is super heavy handed on the “Terminator Travis” nickname instead of just letting it speak for itself and it’s taken away a lot of my enjoyment of Travis there.
All that being said, he’s still a phenomenal wrestler with a ton of very good-great matches to boast as a singles, tag or even trios guy. Plus the range he’s shown playing Sgt Banks in ATTACK. He has too much good to keep him off but I wish I could vote him higher.
