He should be the top heel in NOAH. He's so fucking good. He had a great match with Nakajima early in the year, and his tag team with Masa Kitamiya was really strong. I loved the story of them winning the tag belts, and then Kenoh losing to Sugiura. That leading to Kenoh's molten lava hot turn against Kitamiya and joining up with Sugiura was perfect. Of course, they fumbled him a bit after that because Marufuji needed another fucking title win, but I've enjoyed his recent matches more recently. He's been getting a lot more singles opportunities, which helps him a lot. I think I was the high vote on him last year and will probably be again this year, but he deserves the exposure.

Kenoh might be the best wrestler in NOAH today and is arguably one of the best sprint workers in the world. Even in 10+ minute matches, the guy is great at maximizing his minutes.

Alright, who wants to hook me up with a top five Kenoh matches from the year? I'm assuming the Nakajima and Go singles are essential to ranking him, but I'm also looking for tags and random multi-mans where he stands out. I don't know who else in NOAH is good anymore, so I have no idea what a good matchup even looks like when I look through cards.

Kenoh vs. Go Shiozaki (Global League 2017, November 19) Kenoh vs. Atsushi Kotoge (Navigation with Breeze, June 4) Kenoh vs. Masato Tanaka (Global League, November 11) Kenoh vs. Katsuhiko Nakajima (Global League, October 14) Kenoh vs. Kaito Kiyomiya (The Great Voyage, June 25th) Kenoh vs. Eddie Edwards (11th Global Junior Heavyweight Tag League, July 20)
I don't really have a list of tag matches, but anything with Takashi Sugiura should be good. And in regards to good NOAH guys, I'd recommend Kenoh, Atsushi Kotoge, Go Shiozaki, Tanaka, and Marufuji. Nakajima has a few good ones as well.

Of the NOAH guys I would probably rank him 4th in terms of the year he's had because he just hasn't had any booking support for probably 10 months out of the year. But he has done a very good job with what he has been given and is worthy of making everyone's list, and is finally getting a push.
In addition he is a strong breakout candidate for next year because opportunities are coming and he can deliver a top 10-caliber year if things break his way.
