After a rather disastrous debut, Almas' turnaround in 2017 has been pretty impressive. He's been a consistently good TV worker against the likes of Drew, Oney, and Cezar Bonnoni and is a highlight of almost every Takeover. Though he doesn't quite have the peaks required for a top 20-30 spot, Almas has volume in spades and is a pretty easy middle pick.

Andrade made my list last year based on the strength of 2(?) matches. Since he has at least doubled his output this year at the same or even higher quality of matches I can't see him going anywhere but up on my list. He is one of the smoothest guys in wrestling, but he also has great facials and intensity when required. His match against Aleister Black is one of my favorite this year.

I love Andy Almas. One of my favorite acts in the Federation - NXT or main roster - and he carries himself like a freaking star. The Gargano match was obviously the standout, one of the best opening matches on a PPV ever. But he also had an awesome, 4.25 type TV match against Kassius Ohno in May, and he put up two rock solid TakeOver matches against Roddy Strong and Aleister Black too. He's probably somewhere in my Top 30 because it's not a super deep resume, but in terms of guys I just love to watch, he's in my Top 5-10

I wish he'd been on tv more, because there are very few guys who have made more of their opportunities this year than Almas. He's been one of the most consistent tv workers in the company this year, and the one chance he got to put up a great match on a big show he delivered. I felt like he was one of the better house show guys last year, so I imagine he's killing it again this year though I have no evidence to support that.

I mean I've only been to one house show this year but he and Aleister Black had the clear match of the night in my opinion which really put him at the top of the NXT guys on my list.
