Sam said he was a borderline top ten guy, so let's hear it Sam.
He is legitimately probably my favorite offensive wrestler in the World, or at least very close to it. Dude always has a new spot, a new way of approaching an old spot, or a different variant of an existing norm. He's also one of the best and most varied strikers in all of wrestling which is a quick way to endear yourself to me. Unlike Iggy he works singles a good amount, though they don't typically make tape. Still his matches are Southern Underground Pro's debut show were a ton of fun, and the three way he had with Dominic Garrini and Curt Stallion was the best match on that show. As a tag team The Carnies are legit one of the best in the World at this point, though I do confess that I wish they had an absolute slam dunk classic this year under their belt. The match at Dynamite Cup v. Hysteria is awfully good - probably as good as it could have been given the experience of their opponents - but still just a hair below the level I'm talking about. I've loved all the CWF appearances and there is one Sandwich Squash match that is close, but still just a hair below that threshold. Still only the Ducklings have as many good tag matches as they've had this year, and they are high on the list of acts I like to watch live.

As great as they've been this year, I do think next year will probably be even better if they can turn these Chikara/CZW/ROH bookings into a real varied indie run. I have enjoyed them a lot though, though it is weird to see them transition from AWE cult heroes to primarily working NOVA/CWF. I thought most of their CWF stuff was great, and the Lynch Mob match is really underrated. I've been even more impressed with them in Nova Pro. They've worked almost every show this year, and have basically been the foundation of the tag division. I enjoyed the Cutie and the Beast feud a lot, and the way it spun off into another main event level feud was pretty genius booking that I don't think works without The Carnies there to propel it. I am eager to see where they go next now that it looks like they left Beau Crockett out to dry, but they feel like the type of heel team that can get literally any visiting face team over.
In particularly, I think Kerry is the engine that drives the team when they're heels. His size really helps him bully people, and Iggy excels more at working the crowd in the heat segments.

The strongest piece to Kerry Awful's case is the Dynamite Cup. I don't think any wrestler this year has had as good a one night multi-match performance than Kerry there. Complete bully.
Iggy is real good but I don't think I'm drawn to the team without Iggy. Great at selling, great offense, and the best dude on the apron.
Like problematic said, doesn't have a marquee match to point to which is unfortunate but with how fast things are changing for them, Q4 could provide it.
