Week-to-week he's been the best WWE performer this year. I'm not sure he has a single match that approaches MOTYC level, but I also don't think he's had a match all year that I would comfortable say was was worse than average, and I'd be willing to bet that all but a handful of his matches from the year would rank somewhere in the 3-4 star range. He's hurt because of 205Live being a dead brand, but in terms of a guy working with what he's got he deserves a ton of credit. People can talk about Enzo making people care about the brand, but Neville really did get reactions, and was a great ace for that division, it's not his fault the underneath stories and his opponents were generally heat vacuums (not really their fault either to be fair). Great heel, great offensive wrestler, really smartly got over several moves as finishes this year, and became a guy who I could envision working at a much higher level than he has up to this point in the WWE. I'm hoping they graduating him to SD and give him a money feud, though that seems unlikely. In any event he's a much better candidate than all but a couple of the WWE guys nominated so far

He's hovering around the 80s mark for me right now. It's not that I don't think he's good. HE'S ACTUALLY GREAT, but the dead brand thing so of hurts my interest in his matches no matter how good they are. Probably the best match I've seen of his this year was a house show match with Tozawa in Tupelo, MS. They worked a match completely unlike you'd see on TV.
He's evolved into a great character and even better promo. Who knew, in 2014, that Adrian Neville would one day be one of the best promos in WWE? Ya know, the short guys with weird ears that you needed subtitles for something.
I really want to get him higher on my list. We'll see what happens the rest of the year.

Probably a middle of the row pick for me. Another guy who doesn't have any really high peaks but has a very good TV match resume. Has also been a consistently good ppv guy, even if the Aries feud went on too long.

He's probably one of the most consistent guy on the WWE roster. However, he doesn't throw MOTYC around. I really loved that one match against Cedric Alexander though.

Neville is basically a lock for my list at the moment. Like others have said, nothing I would call MOTY worthy but just about every single match he's been in this year has been good at worst. If he can find a MOTY contender at some point he may move from the middle parts of my list to the higher part

A lot of people have called him the best worker on the roster this year, which I find sort of crazy. I enjoy almost all of his matches (even the Enzo one) but he doesn't have the high end stuff I'd want in a top 50 guy. He's sitting in the 70s or 80s right now.

I have enjoyed all most ever match he has been in this year. Very consistent in the ring maybe wouldn't mind him leaving the purple rope club and back to the "main" roster to see what he can do.

He's a superstar. His promos, expressions, look. Total superstar. In the ring, he's been fabulous. Great match with Rich Swann at the Rumble, with Jack Gallagher at Fastlane, with Austin Aries at Mania. And he also had several great RAW/205 Live matches which basically no one remembers. He kinda fizzled for awhile in the summer, but the Tozawa feud added a couple more bangers. His case is more volume than MOTYC's, but it'll likely get him in my Top 10, in my Top 20 for sure

Next year he will definitely make my top 10 if he works the ZSJ styles EVOLVE/NJPW/Euro loop.

I like the optimism of EVOLVE being around next year.

I hope he does not leave the WWE, but if he does I 'm sure he will be very successful where ever he goes

He's had two excellent title reigns over the last few years which elevated both titles he held (NXT title and the Cruiserweight title). This year, he's done a great job with a brand that, until Enzo, management really didn't care about and there were always rumblings that it would go away. Really good stuff with Swann, Gallagher, Aries and Tozawa amongst others. Can't think of a less than good title match he's had and he probably can/could fit nicely into a US or Intercontinental title picture. Not sure what the reality is of his leaving is at this point, but he has come a long way this year and will have another great year next year as well.

I'm sliding into May in my WWE catchup currently, which means I'm most of the way through the Aries feud. Didn't like it back then and I'm no fan of it now. I'd blame the bookers more for putting a guy who lacks a certain endearing quality against someone who's as cold and emotionless as heel Neville, but at the same time it sort of sums up my feelings on Neville this year. I've really liked his work and some of these matches against guys like Ali, Gallagher, and Tozawa have a solid chance of ending up on the lower end my MOTY list. But he's not a guy who's lighting my world on fire. One of the highlights of WWE programming for me right now, sure, but I don't know if that's the highest bar in the world. I'm almost certain he's going to make my list but I don't know if it will be all that high.
