Finished at #50 on my list last year. What skyrocketed him up the rankings was that awesome triple threat match with AJ Styles & Dolph Ziggler to close out 2016 and also that chairs match with Kalisto.
Love me some Big Breakfast.
Currently sits at #51 on my list right now. Greatly benefitted (as a lot of folks have) from a really good first quarter of the year before sort of just floundering off. Which has sort of been the story of a lot of Smackdown guys, to be honest.
Match Recs:
And I think folks were really high on that match with Ambrose two nights after Wrestlemania.
Funny thing with Corbin is that he was going to win the Intercontinental Championship at Wrestlemania but PLANS CHANGED when the match got moved to the preshow and then Ambrose moved to Raw.
Something I've always found funny about Corbin and his "creative" is that for a supposed "top guy" they see as "the future" he sure does a lot of floundering around with very little going on. Excited to see where his work with AJ Styles takes him over the next few months.
