The only knock on Corey is that he doesn't show up many places. As a talent I find him completely refreshing as he's basically a crybaby, cheating heel cruiserweight, who refuses to do any of the cool cruiserweight shit even though he physically can. He can work as more of a stooging heel, or a cheating roughneck in kind of an Arn Anderson way which I also consider a major positive. I've liked his series v. Dylan Cook in GCW a lot, his heel work in PWX has been very good, and when he comes around the Scenic City he allows delivers. I'm excited to see him work Kyle Matthews on the next Anarchy show, the Skyler blow off at PWX, and the Garrini rematch from SCI at SUP all before the end of the year which will help his case. Extra points for that diving tackle he hit on Ced at 205Live.

He was my first favorite of the southern indie guys, but I really hope he gets around more next year. He's really flexible and isn't often mentioned in the same breath as Ethan Page even though he's great at getting real indie heat. Probably won't make my list unless I see a lot more but he's great.

Has a MOTYC against David Starr from PWX which at least puts him into consideration. The Garinni match from SCI was fun. His Q4 is stacked to the gills though so I would guess that if he goes 3/3 in those matches noted by problematic that he shoots up my list.
Just noticed GCW has a YouTube show so I'm going to attempt to watch the Cook series as well. Maybe there will be some other stuff there worth watching.
