No sold a bump and a lot of people talked about it. Had a match lots of people loved with Sabre where he also blew off selling to get his shit in. The second Sabre match was really good. I enjoyed how Hollis worked him. He did look really sharp Mania weekend. I"m not the right guy to advocate for him, but he needs a thread.

Made it to #7 on my list last year and ain't no way he's getting anywhere near close in 2017. His bad habits are increasingly becoming major factors in his matches, things he's trying to highlight instead of avoid. Most of that comes from my experience with him in CZW and PWG, which aren't the best promotions for mitigating flaws to be sure, but when it's happening against the majority of his varied opponents in multiple promotions you have to point the finger at him. While most of my vitriol is based around those endless, mindless entrances, his gimmick in CZW is up there for my list favorite gimmick in wrestling today.
Still, this kid manages to throw together a bunch of matches that I like. His matches against Ricochet and Keith Lee are going to battle it out for my favorite PWG match of the year, probably. He had another match with Silver that I loved, this time up in Limitless. His match with Trevor is good, as was his other match with Keith in GCW. He's got a few more imperfect but fun bouts with the likes of Haskins and Fenix. All the EVOLVE work sounds fun and I'm looking forward to getting around to that.
Will definitely still make my list. He'll be lucky to make 57 and not 7 like last year, but I have a hard time imagining keeping him off.

I've enjoyed what I've seen of Rush this year with his matches with Scurll and ZSJ sticking out the most to me. When he's the more experienced one in the match, I haven't seen anything great yet, but he's still so young so that's forgivable. His WWE run should be interesting especially if they keep him in NXT rather than putting him on 205 Live. The former would be best long term, but I wouldn't expect him to be pushed too hard too quickly.

The Drew Galloway match WM weekend is great. I also thought he had a great debut performance in NXT. His speed & agility might be the most breathtaking in wrestling today. I need to see more before I make a decision on him.

GREAT run in EVOLVE - the 2 matches he had vs. ZSJ were some of my favorite ones of the year. Also some fun matches in the other indy promotions he worked as well. Very good year for the man.
