I've fallen behind on a lot of wrestling as of late, but I would be shocked if Pete Dunne isn't high on just about everyone's ballot this year. My favorite matches of his this year are against Tyler Bate in the finals of the UK title tournament and at Takeover Chicago, against Jimmy Havoc at Progress: Chapter 45, and against Eddie Dennis from Chapter 52. A very strong contender to get my first place vote this year.

Dunne's in my top 5 maybe even higher - maybe #2 behind Okada. Dude is money right now.

Pete Dunne is unquestionably the most believable heel in wrestling right now. One of my 2 or 3 favorites to watch this year and has lapped Ospreay, Scurll, and every one else as best British wrestler in the world.

Haven't seen any of his Progress stuff, but he's been consistently very good to great in WWE. Two great matches with Tyler and several good NXT matches are enough for at least the top half of my list.

Possibility for making the most ballots? I don't always love his matches but he's pretty undeniable as a top 50 guy with the high end stuff and a huge amount of good volume stuff.

I wanna catch up on PROGRESS till the end of the year. However, Pete Dunne is going to be high judged only by his WWE matches. His matches against Tyler Bate are **** 3/4 and ***** for me. He had two tremendous matches against Mark Andrews. Plus, his match against Sam Gradwell is probably one of the most underrated brawls of the year. I loved every second of it and Dunne won via Body Slam.

Top 5-6 guy right now. Has the best WWE match of the year for me and the best match in England with the match against Eddie Dennis from Chapter 52. The character and Triple H tribute act may bother people and it bothers me too but in the ring he’s firing on all cylinder. Great stuff against Ospreay, Bate, Sexsmith, Jimmy Havoc, Andrews, Haskins and Trent Seven. Not every match of their’s is good but when a BSS trios match is on, it’s really great like the Ringkampf, Team Dragon Gate, and Havoc/Scurll/Callihan stuff. This also isn’t even counting for just how money is as a personality and how well he projects his character in matches. A more than valid pick for best heel in wrestling.
