The Authors of Pain, baby.
Maybe the most improved tag team in the world from last year.
Will be making another post for Rezar, but I've got them 29/30 on my ballot right now and Akam is one spot higher because "A" comes before "R". Nothing more.
Their argument is really based around four matches this year, but they're NXT guys and depth is often always questionable. Regardless, they both deliver.
Your matches to watch are their tag title win against DIY in San Antonio, the triple threat match from Orlando, the ladder match from Chicago, and the tag title loss from from Brooklyn.
They just popped back up on TV on the last taping so I'm assuming they get one more go this year in Houston.
Definite call ups in next year's Superstar Shakeup.
And the beauty of it all? They're both very young and are only going to get better.

Same as the Rezar thread.
Being in some of the best tag team matches of the year earns both Akam and Rezar a spot on the list, the only question is where. I would argue they had higher peaks than the Usos, but less volume.

They have only 7 non squash matches that were televised and most of them were Takeover matches which have all been very good to great. Helped make Sanity actually enjoyable and the DIY/Revival stuff was at a very high level with the Orlando match in my top ten matches this year. If not for the greatness of the main roster tag teams, could be a contender for top tag team in WWE. Very much looking forward to seeing them destroying everything in their path in War Games.
