Bound to be a controversial pick, but the Sublime Master Thief is a very good candidate to round out the bottom of my list. Yes he's a comedy wrestler, but there are few things I find more entertaing than a Toru Yano match. Unlike Enzo who's gimmick is that he sucks to cover for his awful ring work, Yano is a guy who has a great sense of psychology. His in-ring shenanigans are not only humorous but actually make sense and if you look closely at his pin attempts, they're actually very tight and creative (Yano is an experienced shoot grappler). While he had a dud against Elgin, most of Yano's G1 run consisted of really fun sprints and perhaps the greatest comedy match of all time against Kenny Omega. And when you include his entertaining work in Chaos tag matches, you have a guy who's a pretty solid top 80-90 contender.

Will always find a way to get him on my list as he never fails to entertain me. I couldn't imagine a G1 without him. I thought he mixed things up a bit in this year's G1 as well, with a lot of his matches being based on his opponents becoming more wise to his tricks and him needing to go even further to pull a fast one on them. Another wrestler on my bucket list of guys I want to see live.

Always a welcome sight come G1 season. Really enjoyed the Okada, SANADA, and Omega matches. Also can be really fun in prelim tags, especially when paired with the super serious types like Ishii.

Always like his stuff, always argue with people about whether he should be in the big tournaments but man... he really was good in the G1. A very welcome change of pace/breath of fresh air on those shows with some of the funniest matches I've seen from him yet. Every time it felt like the countout shtick was going to get old, he'd change it up just a little and all of a sudden I was in love again. A quote from my review of the Juice match: "If [Robinson] had a better finisher than the Pulp Friction, I’d go the full five on this." I stand by that.
