Needs a thread because if Brandon votes he will vote for him. Good heel, very capable of delivering a great match though I confess I haven't seen a great match of his this year. If i randomly decide to deep dive Freelance I expect he will emerge with a good shot of making my ballot

Needs a thread because if Brandon votes he will vote for him. Good heel, very capable of delivering a great match though I confess I haven't seen a great match of his this year. If i randomly decide to deep dive Freelance I expect he will emerge with a good shot of making my ballot You know me too well. So I know I am probably one of the only people in the forum who can make a good case for Stevie on their ballots and will likely be the highest voter for him if anyone else puts him on their ballot as I have likely have seen the most Stevie here. I have been to all of Freelance shows this year other than 2 and with Freelance stopping the streams and the shows being the price they are without a streaming service it is hard for people to watch them. All of this will be live bias other than one match I will mention. Stevie in Freelance has become the most over wrestlers in the company sans Isais and Suge D. He is a great character and a heel that gets cheers and boos in all of his matches. The bulk of his great matches comes from Robert Anthony, Matt Cage, his performance in the rumble to get his number one contendership of cheating Suge D out of that chance which they still need to pay off and will at the end of the year, a match of the year contender against GPA, an amazing dream match between him and B-Boy, and the Space Monkey match at the last show. He is the MVP of the second half of the company this year (first going to Matt Cage towards his retirement). With 2 shows left in the year Outside of Freelance Stevie has risen his profile riding with Matt Knicks to different promotions. I have seen him live at SCI Rumble, IWA Midsouth, SUP Graps, Glory Pro, and Black Label Pro. I quite enjoyed the triple threat match he had at the Rumble. The match he had with Aaron Williams at the IWA Midsouth show was pretty good on a very solid Thursday show before SCI weekend. His Freelance title defense against Gary Jay at SUP Graps was my favorite match on that card which was a very good show. He was in scrambles at Glory Pro and BLP which he was pretty good in both of those from what I remember. The only match I have seen of his outside of Freelance on tape was his match with Alex Daniels at CWF which was a match I really enjoyed a lot. He has also had matches in Alpha-1 in a four way for the Freelance title, a slew of them in Championship Wrestling From Hollywood, against Willie Mack at Championship Wrestling from Arizona for Freelance title, and against Effy at FEST that I still want to see to see if I can raise him up when I make a ballot.
