Who are you to doubt Low Ki?
Not sure he has a lot of depth but he has one of the most unique indie matches of the decade against Sami Callihan as well as another big time title match in Global Force Wrestling against Sonjay Dutt. Definitely a "top-end" matches candidate and not a depth candidate. Had matches against Lucha Underground regulars Drago and Hijo del Fantasmo that didnt' impress. Felt like he wasn't on the same page as them. Ki isn't a chameleon and wasn't able to force his match on them. I am going to admit my bias and say that executing on a match that I don't feel is easy, big title matches, in a BIG way covers up the blemishes on his record for the most part.
Ki does have some fun stuff in GFW that doesn't exactly stick out on a resume but does help to round out a case where he isn't wrestling as much as other top indie names. Him being out of GFW feels like it will have an impact on the possibilities. Hopefully something fills the gap for him.

The Sami Callihan match wasn't as great as I had heard it was so that's a shame. He had a really good match in TNA with Sonjay Dutt, and I think that's all I've seen from him this year. If he was a regular in a promotion that made tape he would be a legit #1 candidate every year but unfortunately that isn't the case.

Callihan match is my MOTY so far and Ki was the star of that, I also have the Dutt match and the Ultimate X in my top 15. Hopefully he shows up in another AAW show or two this year, but he seems a top 5 lock even if he doesn't wrestle another match in 2017
