I thought the Wrestlemania match with Rollins was excellent. Crowd was quiet but the guys were telling a story. Paul's one of the best at doing that. I met my idol this year. He had a firm handshake. I touched him twice. I looked him in the eye. He whispered, "I know". Then he winked. Paul's making my list this year. Has to make it.

People got caught up on the Rollins match being "unsanctioned" because everyone assumed it would be a plunder brawl and all that.
It was unsanctioned because doctors literally couldn't sanction Rollins to compete in that match.
It was really good.

Rollins match was bad. Not as bad as the Roman match but below the Sting match (which actually sort of holds up as a really fun thing). I actually thought it was the worst match on the show, mainly because I liked Taker/Reigns more than anyone else.

Rollins match was underrated. Maybe 2nd best match at Mania behind aj/Shane (though Goldberg/Brock also could be in that spot)

11th favorite of the year. Put Rollins over as much as possible and excellent on the mic for the short time he was in.

11th favorite of the year. Put Rollins over as much as possible and excellent on the mic for the short time he was in. Is this based only on ringwork? 11th favorite seems insane.

I actually didn't think the Seth match was bad. But yeah, he's not making my list.

I was also one of the ones who liked the Seth match more than others. I think it's overlooked and incredibly impressive how good he still is at his age, combined with how rarely he works. All that being said, I don't think he can make the list though.

For guys with developmental vanity promotions that are subsidiaries of northeast based wrestling companies, he's number 2 behind Emil Jay.
