One of the new hot young stars bubbling in the UK scene. Had an incredible run in FutureShock as the Adrenaline champ having MOTN on a ton of shows against guys like Travis Banks, Pete Dunne, Bubblegum, Spud and others. He doesn’t have the immediate crowd grabbing charisma a Kip Sabian has but he delivers in the ring in a way Kip Sabian hasn’t yet. Could make my list in the bottom half.

Quentin mentioned this kid to me before I began my recent little dive into 2017 FutureShock and then I excitedly messaged him this morning going "YOU GOTTA SEE THIS MATCH" when he, in fact, was the one who brought it up to me in the first place.
This sort of thing happens a lot with us.
Anywho, yeah, Dursun's a lot of fun. Looks like and wrestles like a young kid, which seems to be backed up by the fact that he's got less than 100 documented matches on Cagematch as of this writing. The earliest is from 2012, which belies a level of experience I think, because he definitely feels like a kid who's only now gotten his feet under him this year. Still, he's stretching those motherfuckers out and it's made for the highlight of what has proven to be a mostly unappealing look at a smaller UK fed. He's got a smidgen of size on his side (at least compared to the usual UK lilliputians) as well as enough baby fat left to make him come across younger than he probably is, and he uses both to great effect. Classic sort of junior heavyweight style with a few more modern spotfest ideas thrown in from time to time, but not too many as he's not quite experienced enough to pull many off yet and he knows it. Uses a frog splash as a finish and you can actually see him get better and better at it as time goes on, which I think is real neat.
He was FutureShock's midcard/junior heavyweight champion for most of the year and it was clear that FutureShock wanted to make him a big deal as they brought in a number of bigger names from around the UK to come in and lose to him, resulting in two good matches from Travis Banks, an alright match with "Flash" Morgan Webster, a match with Bubblegum I've yet to see, a pair of recent matches with Pete Dunne I've also yet to see, and this lovely little standout from Rockstar Spud in June that I highly recommend and will easily make its way into the high middle portion of my MOTY list.
As for Dursun himself, he'll probably make my list. Between the Bubblegum and Dunne matches (as well as a James Drake match I might end up liking, who knows), there's a lot left in his FutureShock pool for me to sink my teeth into. I'll give a look at his PCW work as well to see if there's anything worth checking out there. If there is, he'll easily make my list.
