Lots of guys in indie wrestling with legit backgrounds just kind of end up being there, but Garrini really delivers as a shooter you can believe in in the pro wrestling ranks. The Cain Justice matches are both great, with the first being a MOTYC and the most uniquely shootstylish match on U.S. soil in a long time. The Jon Kermon match from NOVA is very good, even with a finish I don't love. He's been in very fun wrestling workrate sprints in Southern Underground Pro. Had maybe the most distinct match of the SCI with Arik Royal in the first round which ended with Dom busting out maybe the best bump I've ever seen for Royal's football tackle finish. There is room to improve, but he's already improved a ton, and is a guy I want to see everywhere.

I have enjoyed every single match he's been in this year. The Kermon match didn't totally work in the building, but was really good on rewatch. The first Cain Justice match is a low end MOTYC. I loved the Punk Pro matches. Most of his Nova Pro stuff has been great. Still needs a Cagematch so I can track down all the stuff I haven't seen. I might be a high guy on him as he's a possibility for the 20-30 range.

The Punk Pro run at Mania weekend was actually really good. I would legitimately put it above most of the big names who had multiple matches that weekend.

Have they ran any other events? Those first two shows were stacked with talent.

Very unsure how high to put him, other than top half and below Justice, though I'd argue he was better than Cain in the rematch. A knock on him might be that he only seem to live up to his (sky-high) ceiling against opponents with a shooty/legit combat sports background -- against typical indie guys he tends to get sucked into doing typical indie things like selling offense that looks like it doesn't hurt and no-selling offense that looks like it does. But even in a straight pro-style setting I'd rather watch him than just about anyone with a double-digit lifetime match count.

I liked Garrini alot, but I really disagree I thought both Punk Pro matches were actively bad, the Stone match especially felt like Garinni working a Martin Stone match full of shitty tough guy elbow exchanges and a stinko ending

I haven't seen the Stone match so I can't comment, but I thought the match with Stallion was one of the better worked sprints of the year as the strike exchanges didn't feel forced. May need a rewatch though but I am pretty high on both guys

I know a lot of people thought the Stone match was the best of his matches that weekend, I thought it was the worst. Preferred the matches with Stallion and Jay. I actually loved the Stallion match.
