The get your shit in lad. One of the most visually disturbing wrestlers on the planet. Has that NOAH match some loved that I've not bothered to watch (link me), but it's a MOTY for some folks so yeah. I thought he and Riddle had a pretty good match at Wrestle Circus on a really sterile, drab, show. The Yehi match from Style Battle this year was one of the better big v little matches in recent memory. I kind of like his stock match for what it is, though it can admittedly bore if not offend.

He managed to sneak onto my list last year due to some Lucha Underground bouts that surprised me in a big way. He doesn't have that luxury this year but has at least one PWG match that took me aback so who knows. Gonna have to see that NOAH and Style Battle stuff that people have raved about.

Brian Cage has his ridiculous look and is very athletic but there is a lack of emotion in his matches (maybe even by design) that always leaves me wanting. That said, he always has a handful of good matches in a year and hearing people rave about that Nakajima match has put it on my list to watch. If he makes it on my list he will likely fall from his #70 spot where I had him last year, which is nuts for a guy that is regularly working with or against Rey Mysterio. There is an AAW match from early this year where he teamed with Elgin against Fenix and ACH that was a lot of fun, and here is this incredibly stupid and wreckless big boys match from The Crash that I enjoy way too much:

Possible he sneaks in at the very bottom. I like Cage a lot and he's usually pretty fun to watch, just not a ton of high-peak stuff (also doesn't help that his best stuff in LU doesn't count). We shall see.

His Yehi match is great, but other than that there hasn't been too much that's wowed me. Though I also haven't seen any of his NOAH stuff yet. Depending on how I like that he could end up on the lower part of my list.

He had a match teaming with Callihan vs The Lucha Brothers at the WM Weekend Revolver show that was killer and probably one of the best matches I saw that weekend. He has some stuff here and there that I really like but haven't seen enough to justify him getting onto my ballot. I am sure though he will find a spot after I watch his NOAH run

The big lad had two of the best singles matches of his career in 2017 vs. Nakajima (very good one) + a classic vs. Fred Yehi in FIP.
