His old man run in AJPW's juniors division against the likes of Hikaru Sato and Ultimo Dragon has been a delight. He's been somewhat Kendrick-like in his willingness to do whatever it takes to win no matter how socially unacceptable the method, whether that means green mist or the Crippler Crossface. His work on pinfalls shows how strong he is on fundamentals -- can't think of anyone else who looks to be trying so hard to steal a win (or avoid a loss) on a flash pin -- and his kicks still look like genuine KO blows. Neck and neck with the very different Takahashi for the best junior in Japan, though this year that doesn't necessarily mean top 50.
