From the wild world of Alabama independent wrestling comes Cabana Man Dan. He's a throwback in that the bulk of his available matches are handheld YouTube matches with him working in a small venues against low tier indie wrestlers, but man does he stand out in everything. He does work New South regularly, and has done Nova a few times this year, but I really would encourage people to check out some of the YouTube stuff because it really gets across just how endearing, fun, and well rounded this guy is as a talent. He's a small dude, and can bump his ass off (check out the way he took Gunner Miller's pounce at Nova), but it's really the way he sells and times and builds his comebacks that is so great. He has a ton of visual/body language tricks that he employs to get over the gravity or levity of a certain situation, and he has a way of doing something comedic in a match, without falling down the hole of being a comedy wrestler which is sadly very rare these days. I love his offense as it all makes complete sense for a guy his size, it's creative but not in a "innovative just to be innovative" way, and it's totally different. The flip flop chops comeback rules. I'll probably end up with him absurdly high on my ballot

I remember him working whacky 2007 indies that ran Tuesday nights in a barn in North Alabama. Glad he's back out there.
