He has been in three matches this year. Can't rate him TOO high based on those matches but guaranteed a slot somewhere. In the year of the sprint his match against Brock at Mania will go down as the most notable of the lot. Maintain the match should have gone on last. Some may make a case for other matches being better, I would get it, but for me nothing is as representative of the year as much as Goldberg and Brock working less than 5 minutes on the biggest stage possible.
Wasn't as good as Brock in the match but Brock also hasn't looked as motivated in any other match. Love the old man giving it one last go.

8th favorite this year, made for a nice short champion.

Absolutely love his Mania match, one of my favorites of the entire year. His title reign was really fun while it lasted.

When I think of the "Year of the Sprint" in the Future, I'll think of Goldberg and his matches with Brock Lesnar and Kevin Owens. Both excellent in their own right with the Lesnar match probably being the best of it's type for this year.
Who know Goldberg had this run in him at near 50 years old?!?

Goldberg carried Lesnar to two good matches and had a nice little showing in the Royal Rumble. Definitely in the 50-75 range for me.

Just three matches this year keeps him off my list, but his feud with Lesnar was great and led to one of the best sprints this year.

I loved all of his three matches that he had. Honestly, besides his wrestling still being good for a short sprint, I think on the mic especially that comeback promo in October was some of the best stuff of the year. All open for him to return at a later date along with a hall of fam induction

The problem with the Owens match is how predictable it was. The music distraction was pretty clear with the pre-match thing so I can't really rate that. Also I didn't love his short Rumble deal. The Lesnar match is unimpeachable though. Won't make my list but I do hope he comes back for another match. 3 minutes in a spear challenge against Reigns sounds lovely.
