Seriously, where was THIS Suzuki last year? Apart from the Okada G-1 match, his singles matches were either solid or straight up skippable. I don't know if it's the lack of Suzuki-Gun, better motivation, or both, but Suzuki has been killing it in singles matches this year. A banger with Goto at Wrestle Kingdom and another excellent Tanahashi match are proof that the old man's still got it. A great heel, great striker, and great submission worker, Suzuki could be an easy top 30 guy at least if he keeps it up.

The Goto match is my MOTY at this very very early stage. I still think he will put out some stinkers, but he has a very easy shot at making the top half of my ballot even if he just coasts and puts out passable stuff at this rate

I would really recommend the tag with ZSJ against Seven/Bate at High Stakes if you've been digging Suzuki so far in 2018.

So much more enjoyable to watch this year over 2017. Had very good to great stuff with Tanahashi, Goto, Okada and even Makabe. Really enjoyed his Mania jaunt and need to dive into some of his British work. In my top 40 right now and would love to see him get some more high profile stuff before year's end.
