One of my favorite guys in New Japan today. He wasn't in a super good standing pre best of the Super Juniors for me(not a bad one either, just lower than I thought someone of his level should have been) and has absolutely delivered since then. The Ishimori match is one that would be in my top 10 easily this year if people weren't banging out 5 star matches at a crazy rate, both Ospreay matches ruled, and he had some real good stuff with Dragon Lee, Kushida, and Taguchi in the super juniors as well. He's bound to take a bit of a bump with the G1 coming up, but with him back to being a featured player in New Japan I can see him holding his top 10 spot in the next 6 months

He's my #3 right now. He was a highlight on undercards while he was out of the title picture for a bit. Easily had the best tournament of anyone in the BOSJ. The Ishimori match is probably my #2 match of the year. He's bound to drop a bit as G1 season starts but he's still an easy top-10-15 guy for me.

Very good chance he finishes in the top 10. Despite not doing much in the first quarter outside of the WK fatal four-way and the New Beginning match with Ospreay (both very good), he absolutely exploded in BOSJ delivering banger after banger culminating in a MOTYC with Taiji in the finals. One of the best high-fliers and most explosive offensive wrestlers in the world today.

He was my #1 before he got hurt and frankly still is, no one else has passed him yet. Someone probably will, but his entire run this year while he was healthy was incredible Even most of the junior tag stuff was severely underrated, and then he had one of the greatest BOSJ runs of all time followed up by the start of an amazing junior title reign (including Ospreay's best match of the year by far).

Top 20 for me right now and it would be hard to see him dropping out of the top half of my list even with the injury. His type of working was eventually going to catch up to him and so here we are, but hopefully, he'll be back at the same level next year.
