I think if he ever finds any semblance of charisma, he will become a gigantic star.  As such, he's a fine in ring worker and had some excellent stuff in both singles and tag matches.  I've enjoyed his G1 and probably am one of the higher people on his match with EVIL.  As with a lot of New Japan guys below the main event level, I probably won't watch much of him post G1, but he's had a very good year so far, so he's probably locked into my top 50 or the top of my bottom 50.
