As with most years he sort of keeps on churning out good work, and doesn't get a ton of breaks for his efforts. Liked the Kincaid match in CWF a good bit, he's been good in PWX, he's always good on random South Carolina indies that show up on youtube. He's better than most indie guys at laying out his matches, and I think he probably does more built around teasing his big spots than most guys at any level. The real issue with him is will/can you see enough of him to make a case.

Needs to be talked about more. His matches against Gresham and Thatcher are fucking phenomenal and the tag match with Hollis against The Ugly Ducklings from Rise Of A Champion is great and I know is a personal favorite of a lot of people from this year.

Ever since I first saw Skyler he's been a guy who is just so damn solid. Have yet to see him have a bad match. So far I've only seen him wrestle once in 2017 (in CWF against Snooty Foxx, which was a lot of fun), but based on what I'm hearing about these other standout matches he's definitely making my list again. Wish he was something more than a perpetual "upper half of the top 100" guy, but it ain't so bad to basically have a confirmed spot on my list every year.

Hopping back in here to say the Corey Hollis unsanctioned match from 10/21 RULES and everyone should watch it. Skyler is a lock for my list after that. Too much good high end stuff.

Will attest to the unsanctioned match against Hollis. It's rough around the edges but made well worth your while on Skyler's work, this great wobbly-legged, swinging for the fences while trying not to keel over from the blood loss sort of performance. On top of that he had a pair of quality grappling matches with the likes of Jonathan Gresham and Timothy Thatcher in PWX as well, holding his own against the two best technical wrestlers in the world. Couldn't get through some of his hyped indie matches against the likes of Gangrel and Ethan Case but that was more to do with my late-in-the-year exhaustion than his output. Will easily make my list and is someone I'd urge other people to check out.
