I doubt he makes my list but I can't not nominate this guy. Even with CWF Mid-Atlantic being the land of midcard babyfaces that are genuinely likable, Smith Garrett stands out as my favorite. He's got a bit of an edge that comes with being a hard-working southern boy who's made of callouses and elbow grease and it makes me like him all the more that he's not just a smiling, waving, clapping hands "happy to be here" face. Great in slug fests with guys roughly equal to his level. Great as an underdog in the biggest match of his life against a 20+ year vet.
His most obvious flaw is his volume, as I'm only seeing 10 matches for the year so far. Still, with the two Xsiris matches, the Darius Lockhart match, the CW Anderson match that made me get CW after years of not seeing what the big deal was, there's a few sneaky good matches there for me, plus his smaller roles in the February scramble and the Opportunity Knocks tag match. Need to see his Weaver Cup and MVW stuff before I make the call, but if he has another match near as good as the first Xsiris match or the CW match, he might squeeze onto my list.

I can't condone his little tongue waggle taunt. He should not be a babyface doing predatorial shit like that.
