So now that this is all but official, where do you peg him on the roster? Ace of 205 Live? Surprise rumble debut? Future NXT champ?

Future NXT champion/headliner for next year's CWC? Maybe? I don't know how any of this works. He isn't going to get the AJ Styles treatment nor the Mascara Dorada. But maybe he can be the next Neville. Which would be funny.

After the Ohno deal (which is a little different given age/exposure), I don't know how to slot any recent signees anymore. If Lio Rush didn't go straight to 205, why would anyone else?

He'll be a NXT guy for awhile. Probably very much a top babyface type to help carry the brand once McIntyre goes up in April.
I actually think Ohno's done really well for himself in NXT. Got slotted into an NXT Title program for his debut. Worked Takeover:Orlando. Been working with a lot of the younger talent on the road and looks headed for a Takeover match with Lars. Only thing I hated was we kept getting teased with a Nakamura match that never happened.

I'm sure Hero is actually fine with where he is (and honestly I couldn't fault him for just wanting to be a PC coach type after his schedule in recent years) but I do selfishly want him to work singles matches with like 85% of the roster and I know we'll never get them.

I honestly don't see how Ricochet fits into the current situation on any of the rosters. Not to say that it won't happen, but that I can't visualize how it works.
Could see him being an Aries. Comes in with some buzz, does NXT for a minute and has a few whatever matches, pops up to 205 for a forgettable title feud, and then leaves after he doesn't feel used to his worth.

With Ohno I think he probably knew they were going to use him as a veteran hand to help train young guys and be an elevated enhancement guy on TV when he signed. Though that was what a lot of people felt that was all Joe was going to be in NXT and he ended up as champ and on the main roster so who knows. Though admittedly when Joe was champ the NXT main event scene was a loooooot less crowded.
I dunno what Ricochet does, honestly. I could see him going straight to 205 because the aforementioned NXT title scene is pretty crowded and 205 could use some star power with Neville leaving.

He basically just confirmed that he's done with NJPW on Twitter. I expect he'll be a huge star for NXT. He could absolutely carry the house shows for them
