Great talent, he's really sharpened his skills in wXw this year. He's not a lap leader, but he's the kind of guy that kind of quietly puts in good work against a wide variety of opponents, and when you pull back and look at the whole you realize he's really good. Working Yehi in a couple of days at Nova which on paper is a great match up for him. Also, the Jurn I Quit match is really a great performance from him, showed of his technique and his mastery of the more melodramatic edge of wrestling.

Have only seen the Shotgun Championship match against David Starr in CZW but I was impressed. Has more of a gritty, technical style as opposed to the generic indie style you see so often these days.

I'm frankly astounded by how much this guy has turned his stock around in 2017. Even as recently as February a friend of mine and I were lamenting the fact that he was getting booked against James and now I couldn't imagine seeing that as a bad thing. He's not putting on MOTYCs left and right but he's super consistent and able to pull off the royalty gimmick on the indies better than anyone since... hell if I know, Rave? Reminds me of Rave in a lot of ways, really, and that sure is a compliment around these parts. I'm more interested to see what he does in 2018 but he's had a fine little year and I hope to see him end up on a few lists.
