Just started putting together my spreadsheets and notes for 2018 and my biggest takeaway is that Cedric Alexander is on fire right now (as of 1/24/18). Probably had Enzo's best singles match ever, worked some fun stuff with Goldust in tag matches, and the Mustafa Ali match from the 1/23 205 Live was legitimately great.

The Enzo and 205 tag match with Goldust just barely getting him points for me. Assuming his push stays where it's at I think he'll have no problem making my list this year

Mustafa Ali match was ok at Mania but the Kalisto match at Greatest Royal Rumble is really good stuff cause he got over in front of a very casual crowd.

I have Cedric somewhere between 25 and 35. I think he's been one of the best in the world but there were too many guys (Kalisto, Mustafa, Gulak, Roddy) that had better Cruiserweight Title tournaments than him to put him in the top 25.

I've really enjoyed his matches this year and he's been one of the best guys on his brand, but the asterisk next to his name is that I can't shake the feeling watching his post mania matches that they made the wrong call putting the title on him and not Ali. It might lead to me being down on him later on in the year if he spends the majority of the year on top.
I think the semi-final with Roddy was the best match of that tournament, and while he was good throughout, there were guys better in the tournament than him.

While I think it would be unfair to claim he carried the 205 brand, he was certainly a great standard bearer for much of the year and he's been on point all year long. His matches with Murphy, Strong and Gulak were all great and he's got a lot of other matches right under that threshold. A top 20 guy for me which speaks volumes about the rebirth of 205Live post Enzo.
