You knew this was coming. The face of the Bushiroad era of New Japan. From the Tanahashi series, the Omega series and the Shibata match, obviously tons of critically acclaimed matches but Okada's more understated matches really hold his case together.

I do think his 2012-2015 run is a tad overrated as he was never the most consistent guy. That being said, he had some legitimately great matches and MOTYC's throughout that time period and from 2016 onward has had a strong argument for best wrestler in the world. The Shibata and Kenny matches alone are MOTDC's and the Tanahashi series has some true classics. Even as someone who's never been the most well-rounded wrestler (occasionally bad strikes and subpar mat game), he's always been an extremely underrated seller, storyteller, and character worker.
It's just too hard to deny him. As it stands, a top 10 contender and when all is said and done, could be number 1.
