My number 1 wrestler last year, this year sitting in my top 10 once again. He doesn't have much in the way of MOTY contenders right now, although that could change with the Dragunov match coming up, but he has a crap ton of volume in the 4 and 4.25 area for me right now. It's tough to project how the rest of his year will go with us still not knowing when we're getting NXT UK and with sporadic NXT apperances, but I think he can crack my top 5 with some people ahead of him starting to be less and less visible for me.

He was right outside my top ten last year and he'll probably end up somewhat near that given his current trajectory. I have a good amount of his non-WWE stuff to catch up on, but he's been great in what I've seen him in. Finally saw him live and learned he does comedy wrestling pretty well too. His BSS matches are probably my favorite ones this year with his matches with Strong and Gibson also ranking pretty high.

I have around the 70s mark this year and he could easily drop off all together. For the amount of matches I've seen from him this year, there's very little I feel are even borderline great outside of the TUE 6 man at first title match with Gibson. In Progress it feels like he's just coasting along through the chapters, just doing enough to get by until Triple H gives him something meaningful to get his teeth into. It doesn't help that I have zero interest in NXT UK so his title matches have no drama to them for me.
I do have the Walter wXw match to watch admittedly, but that won't dramatically change the way I view his year.

I actually have him higher this year than last due to my viewing habits and my increased fandom of Progress. I agree that his higher end stuff is limited and much of it was in tags, six mans and multi-mans this year. With that said, he literally never has a bad match and I do value consistency over having a few peaks with limited other highlights. I was higher on the Dragunov match than most and have loved all of the UE/Ricochet/BSS related stuff in NXT. Borderline top 10 and if the year ended today, probably would be on the positive side of that border.
