Welcome to the weirdest resume of anyone on my list so far. Trent is currently sitting 20th on my list right now. Obviously, that's weird as shit, but some digging through gave me my answer. His resume is literally all tag matches with Bate and Dunne other than one fatal 4 way on a Progress show. Mostly though, his best stuff has been the outstanding series between Bss and UE, with the match from NXT TV being my favorite. I don't expect to see him this high on my final ballot, but he's got the most interesting resume for me so far for sure

I have no idea where he is going to rank because of the lack of singles stuff, but I will say that he'll probably be quite high likely because he never feels like he's well behind everyone else in any tag setting. Sure the Progress stuff is much less serious than the NXT matches, and I can see how that could put people off of him as the centre of the comedy in those bouts, but the fact that the Comedy is actually not bad doesn't hurt him in my book. With the UE feud over and with Bate/Dunne having other priorities at Wembley and likely through the rest of 2018 it'll be interesting to see where he ends up if the tag match well begins to get dry.

I never thought highly of him beyond being a likable dude who tagged along with the real stars, but my god he was amazing in those Moustache Mountain-Undisputed tags. Like, legitimate match of his career performances every time out. That's the kind of stuff that'll get him on my list and maybe in the Top 50.

I have him really high at the moment because I've loved all his tag work this year and NXT booking him and Bate in a non-nauseating way unlike Progress did last year with the heel BSS run has caused me to become more invested in his matches.
I know there's not much singles stuff to shout about from him, but if you look at his year he's been booked in ~95% tags this year so I don't think a lack of singles work should be held against him anymore than it's held against a Nick Jackson or an Ortiz. That is unless he wins the Atlas title off Doug and has 3 months of singles work in Progress to end the year.

He's done very well throughout the year with his tag matches with Bate and six mans with BSS. I really liked his Wembley match with Doug Williams a lot and suspect I'll enjoy more of his singles stuff if I get around to watching it.
