The best offense in professional wrestling. WALTER's chops have been the craze since he started lighting dudes up with them, but Nakajima's kicks legitimately sound like they should give someone a heart attack. The Suguira title match was tremendous and an incredible performance, the tag match with Kitamiya against Kamitani and Nomura is a potential Tag Team MOTY, with an incredible finish where he just slap boxes poor Nomura to death and delivers a vicious punt kick. The series of tag matches against Shiozaki and Kiyomiya are also excellent. A lack of high end singles matches around the Top 40-50, but with Global League coming up and matches against Marufuji, Kenoh, and his tag partner Kitamiya, he could make a big jump into the high end for me.

Quite the turnaround for Nakajima after a largely tepid 2017. To say his heel turn gave him new life would be an understatement as he blends smug cockiness with a vicious mean streak effortlessly. Not a ton of great singles matches yet (although that should change by Global League), but the Sugiura match was one of if not the best NOAH singles match this year. And that's to say nothing of his tag work with Kitamiya, the highlight being the Nomura/Kamitani match which is an easy MOTYC. His placing in the top 20 will depend on how his run in the Global League goes, but he's a no-brainer top 50 pick.
