Had him in my top 10 last year and it appears he's well on his way toward doing that yet again. With the UK and USA indie scenes being pretty thin right now he seems to be the main constant across most promotions now. Haven't seen any of his OTT stuff yet, which will likely change after the G1, but he's still managed some high level stuff elsewhere, such as against WALTER 16 Carat Weekend, vs. Gresham in PWG, and against PAC in Defiant(RIP). With one match against WALTER left for sure still plus likely a crap ton of other matches in nearly every promotion under the sun I could see him finishing very well both my ranking and in the overall standings this year.

Starr is running away with my list currently. All the volume of great matches as an Ospreay except Starr actually has a discernible character and gimmick which allows him to have such great feuds as with WALTER (though this ended poorly in PROGRESS) and Jordan Devlin (in OTT). His promos are absolutely fantastic and even though he does ham it up in OTT, there's so much of him just going straight into wrestling like vs. Deppen in GCW or beating the shit out of Ilja at WTTF. He also had a great intergender veteran vs. young gun match vs. Mercedes Martinez in Beyond Wrestling. Fantastic year for Starr.

I watched his October match with Devlin from OTT and his NYE match with Erick Stevens within 24 hours of each other and they showcased how truly gifted he is at getting the most out of a match and his opponents. He can wrestle matches just for the sake of being great matches, he can wrestle blood feuds (his match with Janela at Americanrana) and he can do the chase of the big win/title as good as anyone. I still haven't seen everything that's been praised from him, so where he is today and where he is by the time my ballot gets submitted may be very different.
